What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Secure the enterprise-wide network infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry best practices and company policies
- Design, architect, and implement solutions for redundancy, acceleration, and automated failover in cloud-based environments
- Collaborate with various teams to create secure and reliable solutions for both internal and external services
- Maintain and document network security infrastructure, including load balancers, firewalls, and other security appliances
- Provide senior technical expertise and coordinate efforts of a small team for specialized security issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in network security and load balancing
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, OSI model, and various protocols
- Excellent documentation skills and understanding of firewalls, UNIX, DNS, and PKI
- Experience with authentication mechanisms such as SLDAP, RADIUS, and SAML

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud-based environments and scripting in UNIX command line
- Knowledge of encryption algorithms and ciphers
- Familiarity with SCADA and control systems within the energy sector
