What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct direct outreach to new Medicare members to provide personal assistance with their MAPD, DSNP, and MMP plans
- Serve as the member's navigator during the onboarding process, addressing any questions and anticipating potential issues
- Log all member contacts in a database for tracking and follow-up
- Participate in member engagement work groups to ensure member needs are being anticipated and addressed
- Engage in regular training on member benefits and the advocate/engagement role
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, and/or healthcare systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with members, providers, and team members
- Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and Medicare
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience with Medicare and Medicare managed plans such as MAPD, DSNP, and MMP
