- Engage directly with new Medicare members and assist them in understanding their benefits
What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct direct outreach to new Medicare members, providing assistance with their MAPD, DSNP, and MMP plans
- Serve as a navigator for members during the onboarding process, addressing questions and anticipating issues
- Log all member interactions in a database for tracking and follow-up
- Participate in member engagement work groups to ensure needs are anticipated and addressed
- Attend regular member benefits training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, or healthcare systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with members and team members
- Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and Medicare
- Experience conducting intake, interviews, and/or research of consumer or provider issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience with Medicare and Medicare managed plans such as MAPD, DSNP, and MMP
