  Job summary

  Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Bristol. Hobbs Rehabilitation is one of the largest independent provider of specialist multidisciplinary neurological and amputee rehabilitation to adults in the south of England. We are looking for someone looking to further develop their existing skills and experience in neurological and trauma/amputee rehabilitation, managing complex patients across the clinical pathway, including specialist assessment and treatment provision.

  Main duties of the job

  We offer conventional therapy within an outpatient MDT setting, alongside the use of neurotechnology to achieve patient-centred goals. We receive a wide range of referrals from different sectors such as medico-legal, therapist led and charity based and self referrals. Hobbs partners with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) Injured Players Foundations (IPF), Help for Heroes and the Spinal Injury Association (SIA), to name a few.

  We therefore work with clients with a variety of complex neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, degenerative conditions and peripheral nerve injuries. We have recently developed the service to include trauma and amputees, and the postholder will work alongside our experienced clinicians to continue to develop specialist skills in this area.

  You will have full access to our state-of-the-art neurotechnology devices to complement and increase the intensity of your treatment. You do not need to have prior experience in use of technology, training on specific devices will be provided as part of your induction. There will also be opportunities to participate in research and development projects as part of your clinical professional development through Hobbs and the MiNT academy.
