Job Description

- Provide assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
- Devise evidence-led therapy programmes for patients at a specialist level, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary working to achieve the best outcomes for our patients
- Maintain high standards of clinical care in line with national guidance for excellence
- Key Worker duties to ensure cohesive goal-setting and therapy and coordinating discharge
- Supervise junior staff including assistants and students
- Participate in internal training (induction, mandatory training, MDT in-service)
- Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld
- Participate in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives
- The post holder may be required to provide cover at our nearby Chislehurst site
- Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights

Now, were looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6 level) to join our expanding team and make a lasting impact on the lives of patients like James.
