What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist field service technicians through inbound and outbound phone, chat, and email communications.
- Provide expert help on automotive repairs, specializing in EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain, or infotainment systems.
- Participate in an initial training program designed to prepare you for effective support from your home office.
- Utilize technical experience and listening skills to solve vehicle repair issues.
- Collaborate with fellow consultants and leaders to ensure high-quality service and support.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of automotive engine, electrical, drivetrain, and/or infotainment systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five or more years of recent experience as a mechanic in a full-service shop.
- Two ASE certifications (or the ability to obtain them within six months of hire).
- One or more years of customer service experience in any role involving direct interaction with customers.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electric vehicles (EV).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong typing skills.
