- oFull registration with the General Dental Council of the UK (GDC) at the time of appointment and hold a current licence to practise
- oMFDS, MJDF or equivalent
- oMSc or higher training within Oral medicine
- oMinimum of 3 years of postgraduate dental clinical experience
- oMinimum of 1 year of postgraduate experience in an oral medicine specialist unit
- oExperience of managing facial pain patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- oEffective application of evidence-based practice in clinical management of oral medicine and facial pain patients
- oAbility to use IT and standard Microsoft packages
- oEvidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals
- oDemonstrate ability to meet Trust values of safety, kindness, teamwork and improving
- oEffective participation in clinical governance and quality Improvement activities by demonstration of completed quality improvement projects, service evaluations and clinical audits
- oExperience of clinical teaching
- oAbility to manage own time and workload and prioritise clinical work

Job summary
The Department of Dental Medicine is delighted to invite applications for Special Doctor in Oral Medicine and Facial Pain at University College London Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our well-established and dedicated team.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work in Oral Medicine and Facial Pain clinics, and the job plan is expected to comprise 8 Programmed Activities per week on average, to be carried out at UCLH. There is no on-call commitment
