What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate various forestry equipment, including wood chippers, hydraulic equipment, and chainsaws
- Manually remove vegetation from work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
- Perform line clearance, pruning, and tree removals as needed
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights up to 75 feet
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to a safety-first culture
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum age of 18 years with a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to work 45 hours weekly and outside in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of performing the job requirements, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Willingness to learn to operate a bucket truck and obtain necessary licenses and certifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Utility Line Clearance, Arboriculture, or Environmental Studies
- Background in Field Operations Management or Landscape Maintenance
- Familiarity with Integrated Vegetation Management or Storm Restoration
