What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Generate new business and manage customer accounts, overseeing the sales pipeline from start to finish.
- Conduct prospecting and sales calls, utilizing the Cox Auto selling approach to close complex sales opportunities.
- Maintain current accounts, ensuring dealer contact information is accurate and inventory is correctly represented online.
- Analyze dealer and auction display results, focusing on addressing delivery issues.
- Document all sales and service interactions in the Specialty instance of Salesforce.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field, or a master’s degree with up to 2 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated advanced communication skills (written, verbal, phone, and interpersonal).
- Proven ability to analyze customer problems and trends to make recommendations for improvement.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong knowledge and experience with business software applications, including MS Office Suite and virtual demonstration tools.
- Experience in a customer-focused, account management, revenue-driven environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across departments.
- Previous software sales or automotive sales experience is a strong plus.
- Media advertising experience and background in an account management or service role.
