What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming phone calls and process customer orders, including gas permeable and custom soft contact lens orders
- Research customer inquiries and provide problem resolution using up-to-date information and resources
- Mail product literature and price lists, ensuring timely processing of orders
- Process adjustments or modifications for the manufacturing lab as needed
- Assist the shipping department and manufacturing lab when necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior work experience in an inbound call center environment or customer service experience is required
- NCLE Certification required within one year of employment
- Commitment to continuing education to maintain certification every three years
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

- Experience in the optical industry or with specialty lenses
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using technology and customer service software
