What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants
- Gather necessary information to initiate claims and explain policy coverage and procedures
- Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves, and adjust as needed
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures
- Communicate with involved parties and process appropriate settlements within approved payment authority
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in claims
- Minimum of 3 years of general claims experience
- Active adjuster license(s) and willingness to obtain all necessary licenses within 60 days
- Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

- Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and other mainframe applications
