      Job Summary

      Upon referral provides professional speech therapy services including evaluations, planning individual
      patient care programs and treatments. Demonstrates/uses current knowledge of principles and
      practices of Speech Therapy. Participates in job related departmental functions as an integral member
      of the patient care team.

      The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

      Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

      The salary range for this position is $76.03 (Hourly Rate).

      Department Description

      St. Mary's Medical Center and associated outpatient clinics are now part of UCSF Health. This addition
      give us the opportunity to offer primary and secondary care in more places and increases UCSF Health's
      ability to care for patients with complex medical needs. Combining community care with academic
      medicine makes convenient, comprehensive care easier to access for all our patients.

      Gate Park. As a full-service facility, we're home to the nation’s first digital cardiac catheterization
      laboratory, innovative orthopedic and spine care, state-of-the-art cancer center, and

      Required Qualifications

      • Newly licensed (LIC SLP), CFY-complete acceptable, unless a specific number of years required due to the needs of the department at the time of the appointment.
      • Masters Degree (MA/MS) in Speech- Language Pathology (SLP) from a school accredited by the American Speech- Language & Hearing Association (AHSA).
      • Completion of Clinical Practicum, per ASHA requirements. Passing score on National Examination for SLP.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Minimum of one year experience in a related setting.

      License/Certification

      • SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (LIC SLP)
      • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA(CT CPRBLS)
