What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote spiritual wellness and development in the Enhanced Living department
- Establish regular visitation patterns with residents and respond to their pastoral needs
- Support and share responsibilities for Pastoral Ministries programming as directed
- Plan and coordinate spiritual life activities and programming in assigned neighborhoods
- Document pastoral assessments, interventions, and outcomes following visits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Seminary or ministry-related undergraduate degree, approved denominational ministry training, and/or at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
- Efficient time management skills for coordinating meetings with families and team members
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with residents and staff
- Compassionate spiritual leadership with the ability to provide empathetic, resident-centered care
- Commitment to personal spiritual wellness and maintaining professional boundaries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with older adult ministry or a willingness to pursue continuing education in this area
