What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, analyze, document, and process award agreements and prior authorizations
- Draft and process subagreements and amendments for review and signature
- Ensure compliance requirements are satisfied for awards and subagreements
- Assist in reviewing and implementing procedures related to award processing
- Collaborate with the Contract Specialist and Director on compliance matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of sufficient college coursework and two years of progressively responsible related experience
- Two years of progressively responsible experience in higher education or related contract review
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations and requirements
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in sponsored programs compliance, award review, and subagreement preparation
- Familiarity with software for research administration such as Banner, Etrieve, or InfoEd
- Previous experience in a research institution or non-profit organization
