What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and validate spreadsheet tasks for clarity, determinism, and correctness
- Modify input spreadsheets and task statements to enforce consistent outcomes
- Apply a structured 5-step validation process for quality assurance
- Annotate reasoning for edits and flag low-quality or ambiguous tasks
- Meet weekly quality benchmarks and iterate based on reviewer feedback
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong Excel proficiency (INDEX/MATCH, IF, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with structured data tasks or QA/checklist workflows
- Consistent output under quality guidelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior data annotation experience (e.g., Scale AI, Surge AI, Toloka, etc.)
- Experience working in a startup environment
