What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, mentor, and support SQL developers through guidance, reviews, and feedback
- Oversee design, development, and maintenance of SQL databases and structures
- Drive creation and optimization of high-performance SQL queries and procedures
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through testing and governance
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting complex database issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience with SQL, including complex queries, subqueries, and stored procedures
- 8+ years of experience with database design and normalization
- 3+ years of experience in the finance industry
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting and system/software quality assurance best practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based databases, such as Azure
- Working knowledge of Python and its standard libraries, Power Automate, and PowerApps
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Proficiency with SSRS and RDL report writing
- Experience with PFS-Paxus
