What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage month-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries
- Ensure financial accuracy through reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Calculate and maintain standard costs for products and prepare cost analysis
- Prepare internal reports while ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Participate in process improvements and provide guidance to accounting staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in financial reporting/accounting
- At least two years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and IFRS/GAAP
- Proven organizational skills and a strong client service mindset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPA and/or MBA in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in public accounting and exposure to medium-to-large companies
- Advanced experience with SAP software or similar ERP systems
