What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect, validate, and reconcile participant data for actuarial valuations
- Compute accrued, projected, and optional-form benefits, including Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) and QDRO amounts
- Draft and file regulatory compliance deliverables such as Form 5500 and PBGC premium filings
- Present findings and valuation reports to consulting actuaries and plan sponsors
- Review calculations and reports prepared by peers for accuracy and consistency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree required
- 15+ years of experience related to defined benefit actuarial/plan administration services required
- Proficient with ProVal actuarial valuation software required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with OPEB plans
