The Sr. Ad Tech BD Lead, Technology Partners, will lead partnerships with software vendors and data companies. You will drive the strategy, execution, and ultimate adoption of software and data partnerships for Amazon Ads, including (but not limited to) Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and Amazon DSP. These partnerships will enable advertisers to easily uncover new audience insights, further personalize their messaging, and better measure campaign success with Amazon, fueling the overall growth of Amazon’s technology suite. In this role, you will develop first of its kind partnerships to drive data unification through identity providers, customer data platforms, data providers, and data management companies (to name a few). You bring thought leadership on where our relative advantages or risks lie, along with current trends around innovation, consolidation, and customer adoption. You have solid business judgment with a track record of strong external and internal relationship management, and ability to map the intersection of customer needs, partner priorities, and Amazon priorities. You thrive in ambiguity, and are excited to own and build a nascent program with a new segment of partners. Further to this, you will support the Global Tech BD Lead and EU Ad Tech Sales team in their goal to increase advertiser adoption and usage of AMC.
Responsibilities:
- EU Ad Tech BD lead and subject matter expert (SME) for advertiser first-party data strategy and associated partner landscape
- Own, create, and lead the execution of the strategic growth plan with technology partners
- Manage entire commercial process, including but not limited to: opportunity identification and scoping, commercials, GTM alignment and launch, and ongoing partnership planning
- Work with Sales, Product, and AdTech Solutions leadership to prioritize customer integration needs, validate demand, and align on goals
- Define proofs of concept and use cases, in partnership with AdTech Solutions and Product teams
- Lead deal negotiation, coordinating with Legal, Product, and Corporate BD where relevant
- Increase the total number of integrations globally by sourcing and enabling technology partners
- Own revenue and adoption goals associated with launched integrations
- Develop joint GTM with partners, including shared goals, target lists, pitch support, and business reviews
- Engage with advertisers and internal sales teams to facilitate seamless access to technology integrations
- Drive co-sell strategy and execution with AWS, including developing joint solutions and GTM
- Develop framework for premium partners including marketing support, sales support, feedback loops, tools, and processes
- Assist with operational tasks critical to the success of the overall program, including reviewing marketing content, driving business reviews, and managing internal communications on progress of the program- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience in a professional field or military
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
