What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and manage complex commercial agreements and contracts from approved financial proposals
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Audit, to ensure timely and consistent contract development
- Manage contract file and database, and provide recurring and ad hoc reporting
- Advocate for stakeholders while effectively managing the contract process
- Provide training on the contract process to internal stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- 3-4+ years extensive previous contract drafting experience required
- Relevant experience at a Fortune 500 or large-scale corporation or law firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree
- Strong understanding of the payments industry and Visa Products and Services
- Background knowledge of banking and financial institutions laws and regulations
- Experience with Salesforce, Apttus, or similar contract management software
- Proven ability to drive strategic efficiency and process improvements
