What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and support the development of the monthly financial forecast
- Analyze actual results versus forecast and identify key drivers and variances
- Collaborate with business partners to gather inputs and validate assumptions
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
- Highlight trends, risks, and cost optimization opportunities to leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets and general ledgers
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and the financial close process
- High level of individual accountability and ability to influence others
- Strong proficiency in the entire MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and anticipate operational issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in financial analysis or forecasting within a retail or consumer goods environment
- Familiarity with contract review and financial guidance
