What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Controller in financial reporting, controls, and analysis for the Midwest region
- Assist in the Period End Close process, developing accurate financial statements and detailed analyses
- Own aspects of monthly dynamic forecasts within assigned P&L categories and communicate drivers of changes
- Analyze and interpret business results to provide insights on key business drivers and identify improvement opportunities
- Monitor operational spending and support the annual budget process by creating detailed plans in collaboration with operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations or Logistics finance
- Proven ability to partner with operational leaders to drive business results
- Strong systems skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and SAP
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to handle large data sets and high volumes of transactional data
