- Partner with Global Procurement Team to define and/or revise Procurement data management standards
- Maintain Procurement reporting tools and associated programs.
- Serve as Procurement Systems Administration and training backup.
- Support ongoing data expansion needs in data, analysis, and reporting systems.
- Synthesize complex data into concise deliverables and present findings to leadership.
- Mine complex and unstructured 'big data' sources for actionable insights.
- Provide quality assurance of data prepared by other analysts and add contextual information.
- Partner with Global Procurement Team to ensure processes and procedures are appropriately documented, updated, implemented, and audited.
- Actively identify opportunities and lead actions of continuous improvement through quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Support ongoing communication, training, and system adoption for internal business partners and stakeholders.
- Provide support to Category and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Teams.
- Support opportunities in spend for cost reduction and avoidance that are attributable to the P&L and able to be audited by a Finance partner
- Actively support implementation of new tools, to support the Technology Roadmap of Procurement
- Perform Ariba Administration as follows;
- Act as system administrator and primary business support person for the P2P system
- Maintain user roles and permissions
- Configure and maintain upstream and downstream business rules
- Perform certain import and export of file loads
- Perform ad hoc re-routing of approvals for requisitions, and IR's
- Maintain custom catalogs and assist with enabling punch-out vendors
- Assist with supplier enablement
- Ensure that company policies are properly applied to contract execution and purchase transactions
- Create and manage information related to users, vendors, catalogs, items, pricing, and contracts
- Manage assigned spend categories as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assess the complete market for relevant goods and services including; trends, forecasts, risks, geopolitical effects, and supplier profiling.
- Boldly assess the indirect spend portfolio and constantly seek opportunities for cost/demand reduction, innovation/substitution options, and applications of new technology.
- Successfully collaborate with multiple internal partners including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Logistics, Manufacturing Operations, Sales, and R&D.
- Responsible for identifying, establishing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders.
- A recognized self-starter with an ability to operate with limited supervision.
- Mobilizes to rapidly adapt to changing circumstances without losing momentum.
- Deep focus on the internal customer experience.
- Ensure negotiations with supply and trade partners are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 2-4 years of related experience in indirect procurement or similar role with the ability to negotiate and purchase related products / services
- Experience in indirect procurement areas including, but not limited to, Human Resources, Professional Services, Marketing, Legal, Office Services, Consulting
- Experience with SAP Ariba / Fieldglass.
- Strong persuasion, influencing, and social skills.
- Skillful in the strategic sourcing process, data and market analysis, RFP process management, negotiations, contracting, and supplier lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical and financial acumen including cost modeling and budgeting/forecasting and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with e-sourcing tools including spend analytics and project and contract management.
- Experience in the drafting and negotiating of contracts.
- Professional global and cross-cultural skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized, and have excellent problem solving/decision making abilities.
- Highly organized, possessing excellent decision-making skills in unsure environments.
- Strong project management skills with emphasis on business processes.

Job Description:
The Sr. Analyst – Global Procurement Center of Excellence will be responsible for the data and analytical management of Ingredion’s global spend for all goods and services. This will include such spend categories as Chemicals, Packaging, Human Resources, Professional Services, and Marketing. Core responsibilities will include a comprehensive review of the global spend, support the Category’s Team development of a five-year category strategy, and execution of sourcing projects to reduce cost and improve service and quality levels. This highly visible role will require an individual who can work closely with both internal business partners and key Ingredion Procurement Technologies.
