What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and support member services regarding tax withholding and reporting issues, maintaining direct communication with distributors
- Calculate monthly state payments and file state returns for backup withholding quarterly
- Prepare and file IRS Forms 1099, 1042, 592, T4ANR, 480 PR, and 945 to ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements
- Process tax levies, IRS B-Notices, and IRS TIN matching
- Assist with the review of year-end reports and advise on tax questions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Tax
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or 4 additional years of work-related experience
- Direct experience with Sovos Taxport software, Alteryx, Power BI, Oracle ERP, or other ERP systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to solve practical problems under general supervision
- Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining accuracy

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5-7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Tax
- Direct knowledge of 1099 filing and other tax information reporting
- Strong customer and results orientation
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and organizational needs
- Proven track record of effective teamwork and collaboration
