      The Analytics & Insights Analyst will provide analytical support for departments across the organization to address key business problems. This role will lead projects, perform cross-functional business analysis, construct operational dashboards with KPIs, and utilize technology to streamline processes. Successful candidates for this role are structured thinkers with strong data analytics skills, with ability to navigate ambiguity, and are always looking for strategic opportunities to improve business performance with data.

      Responsibilities:

      • Main analytical support for Individual Family Plans and Small Group business units, providing data, analysis, and reporting to support operational visibility and provide actionable insights.
      • Lead or contribute to the development of new processes and methodologies.
      • Provide analytical support for Sales and Operations teams to address key business problems.
      • Proactively engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate the requirements into business and technical requirements.
      • Support the definition of metrics, data architecture, data pipelines and data to support Data Analysis and Reporting.
      • Communicate analytic insights to senior management and business stakeholders, and present complex information clearly.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science or related degree.
      • 5+ years’ experience in sales analytics, preferably for a direct-to-consumer brand.
      • Experience with data mining for advanced analysis, predictions, and insights.
      • Advanced skills with BI tools and how to prepare data and associated visualizations to maximize impact.
      • 5+ years of SQL experience with ability to manipulate data quickly and efficiently.

      Preferred qualifications:

      • 5+ years’ experience in sales analytical functions.
      • Knowledge of Medicare, ACA Health, and other insurance products.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.
      • Proven track record of defining and executing key analysis with minimal supervision.
      • Strong communication skills.

      The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
