What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements for information needs
- Design, develop, document, and distribute visualizations that meet organizational guidelines
- Act as a liaison to communicate data structure and metric needs to relevant teams
- Identify data quality issues and bring them to the attention of leadership
- Provide end-user training on visualization tools and interpretation methods
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a similar technical degree
- Minimum 6 years of experience in data visualization and direct customer engagement
- Minimum 6 years working with complex data sets in a relational database environment
- Strong background in designing interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Clinical educational background
- Familiarity with SQL or other common query languages
- Experience with advanced statistical and mathematical principles in data analysis
- Personal desire for continuous knowledge growth and skill development
- Ability to mentor less experienced team members
