Job Description

- Assist in designing and implementing compensation structures, including salary bands, job grading, and incentive plans.
- Maintains accurate job descriptions. Reviews requests for new or revised job descriptions to determine appropriate market benchmark.
- Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position.
- Supports the end to end annual focal compensation planning process.
- Assist in team member education regarding compensation philosophy, pay structures, and total rewards programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws related to compensation, including FLSA, pay transparency laws, and equal pay regulations.
- Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies, and practices.
- Participates in the configuration, testing, and implementation of the compensation administration system.
- Maintain accurate compensation data within HRIS and payroll systems.
- Support Saes Compensation Calculation and Processing
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting/finance, or a business-related field.
- 5+ years of work experience including compensation analysis, salary administration, and job evaluation/market analysis
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll, and compensation administration tools.
- Analytical skills to work with large amounts of data; ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the design, implementation and administration of compensation practices and programs and HR technology applications.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy, and strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to effectively organize, structure, and prepare data.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems.
- Knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation.
- Familiarity with compensation frameworks, salary benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford, WTW), and job evaluation methods.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM-CP/PHR certification, a plus

Overview
How you can make a difference
The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the design and administration of HealthEquity's compensation programs. This role includes conducting market analysis and using market data to make recommendations that will support pay structure design. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with the People team, finance, and leadership teams to ensure team members are compensated fairly and competitively.

$92,000 to $117,000 / year
