**What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):**
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on IT Security and Compliance projects, providing security expertise on all IT initiatives.
- Ensure all system platforms are functional and secure, managing the maintenance of systems to protect data.
- Collaborate with management to assess acceptable risk levels for enterprise computing platforms.
- Utilize security event correlation tools to detect and respond to security incidents; conduct forensic investigations as needed.
- Manage enterprise-wide endpoint protection and coordinate with network infrastructure and application teams during security incidents.

**What is Required (Qualifications):**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or 10 years of specific experience in security or network administration.
- A minimum of 10 years of combined IT and application, operating system, or database security work experience.
- Extensive exposure to systems analysis, configuration, diagnostics, and administration of Windows, Linux, and Unix servers.
- Familiarity with Identity Access Management, Vulnerability Scanning, change management, computer forensics, and security incident response.
- Proven ability to handle highly confidential information securely.

**How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):**
- Additional certifications in IT security or compliance.
- Experience with incident response planning and execution.
- Knowledge of emerging security technologies and trends.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within IT security.
