• Client is working on a major C project in a Linux environment.
• Extensive and current expertise in C and Linux is essential for this assignment (applications without both will be rejected).
• Software development must be done on a Linux machine to be in the right condition (OS, libraries and dependencies).
• At present, the team is working on virtual machines which they use for development (Linux).
• The database is Informix, and its use remains fairly basic (adaptable SQL queries).
• The mission is to recover the knowledge of the tool today on the module in C and to write technical specifications and evolutions following the modifications to be made. It will be essential to document the process as fully as possible.
• The resource will also be working on maintenance and related developments (e.g. making the module multi-tenant, especially for laboratories with different identifiers).
