- Understand how the Retirement Solutions teams are using data, analytics and BI to help drive decisions and manage their business.
- Design BI that helps the business to identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Deliver proactive insights based on the BI the team generates.
- Work with the business to improve data acumen and help them get the most value out of the BI provided.
- Manage and develop a team of BI analysts
- Develop the team’s presentation skills, specifically in telling compelling stories with data.
- Develop long-term strategic vision for how BI can support the Retirement business and work with direct reports to make that vision concrete with discrete executable steps.

Business Intelligence
The Senior Director Business Intelligence is responsible for delivering relevant and actionable intelligence to the Retirement Solutions business. This job requires deep knowledge of the retirement business, including recordkeeping, as well as a deep knowledge of data analytics and BI. The role will lead a team of analysts in delivering a portfolio of BI to support the business, working in partnership with business leaders and the rest of the TIAA Enterprise Analytics team to develop, prioritize and deliver on a portfolio of BI projects. As such, this role will also require strong project management experience.

In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
