What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and own the architectural vision across application platforms, APIs, data, integrations, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling
- Champion DevOps as an operating model and drive the adoption of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Lead the architectural strategy for Azure cloud and ensure operational excellence and resilience
- Elevate user experience as a core architectural responsibility, ensuring low-latency and responsive user interfaces
- Own the API platform and developer experience strategy, enabling secure and scalable integrations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Deep experience in designing and operating cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure
- Proven success in architecting highly available and resilient distributed systems
- Strong background in DevOps, automation, and platform engineering
- Experience architecting systems in highly regulated environments, with knowledge of HIPAA and PCI-DSS
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading or architecting AI platforms and agentic AI systems
- Background in Health & Benefits, Insurance, or Financial Services environments
- Experience improving developer experience through strong APIs and tooling
- Evidence of technical thought leadership such as conference speaking or publications
- Familiarity with transformation at scale in large, distributed organizations
