      ROLE SUMMARY

      The Earned & Partnership Media Lead will lead the vision and execution of Pfizer's earned media strategy via content development, influencer marketing and social media approaches and insights. They will also be responsible for providing dedicated social listening and product PR support, providing connectivity across media strategy and activities, in conjunction with the Media Strategy and Planning Team. They will champion and lead on creating new and differentiated platform and content to inform planning and media placements.

      ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Provide product teams with dedicated social listening support on a day-to-day basis (coordinated and integrated as an input for Strategy and Planning group).
      • Orchestrate recurring strategic direction-setting with Corporate Communications and Public Affairs to align on overall paid media strategy and initiatives.
      • Leverage insights to develop new and differentiated messaging (e.g., earned media), media questions (media placements), and PR campaigns.
      • Manage key stakeholder engagement (e.g., patients/ doctors forums) to drive earned and social media traffic.
      • Nurture and build relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., thought leaders, KOLs) for each product, to build and manage product reputation.
      • Lead identification and engagement with products influencers and developing campaigns with them across platforms.
      • Guide earned media strategy via influencer marketing, earned social media and creative insights.
      • Collaborate closely with stakeholders within the CMO organization and other organizations within Pfizer, including: o Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Public Affairs (own overall PR strategy) – Global Connections Planning & Media's Product PR unit will serve as a point of contact for both Product teams and Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, leveraging insights and dedicated social listening capabilities to support Product PR strategy.
      • Collaborate with Strategy and Planning to provide Product teams with dedicated social listening support.

      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

      • BA/BS Degree in Marketing experience and 15 years work experience in Media Strategy, Earned Media, Social Media, PR or influencer marketing.
      • Experience in brand marketing/management, partnerships, sponsorships, or public relations.
      • Experience with modern social media marketing tactics including influencer.
      • Experience in generating demand through brand and full-funnel marketing strategies.
      • Experience with corporate and product PR.
      • Experience with social listening technology and practices.
      • Experience with both traditional and social platforms strategy and management – Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, Twitter Ads, etc.
      • Creative, innovative problem solver who leads with insights derived from data.
      • B2B and B2C data-led marketing experience.
      • Experience with leading agencies, ISV technology companies or consulting partners in advertising and marketing tech.
      • Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
      • Executive presence and demonstrated ability to effectively influence and drive alignment across senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization
      • Experience with customer journey personalization and messaging; paid, earned and owned media planning; media activation and reporting
      • Experience with leading agencies, technology companies, or consulting partners in advertising and marketing tech
      • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrixed environment
      • Excellent communication skills; can articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience
      • Creative, innovative problem solver who leads with insights derived from data
      • Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable the teams to achieve successful delivery
      • Strong writing, presentation and influencing skills
      • Demonstrate ability to thrive under pressure, to take accountability and to meet deadlines
      • Superior organizational and leadership skills; ability to influence, manage and drive action of the efforts of team members in on-time and accurate execution of deliverables

      The annual base salary for this position ranges from $226,200.00 to $365,800.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.       * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $197,600.00 to $329,400.00.
