      The Senior Executive Assistant for Global Quality is a dedicated position responsible for ensuring that day-to-day administrative support is provided for direct and indirect business partners. This support includes, but is not limited to schedule management, office management, and other administrative support as needed.

      Key Objectives/Deliverables:

      The Senior Executive Assistant for Global Quality has responsibility to:

      • Schedule annual governance committee meetings, leadership meetings and events. Work with facilitators to manage execution of committee meetings.
      • Serve as key contact person in dual areas to minimize disruptions for the direct and indirect business partners, and leader for administrative support staff globally.
      • Handle all facets of the business partners' schedules: Prioritize and organize the business partners' time (schedule meetings, resolve conflicts, etc.) and ensure that the business partners are adequately prepared for each day's activities, as well as manage their work-life balance.
      • Work independently and across boundaries in response to incoming requests, meetings, etc. Prioritizing those requests and maintaining direct, open, and constant communication with the business partners to ensure awareness of priority issues or changes to daily schedule.
      • Develop a relationship with executive assistant teams in providing support for Lilly Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Manufacturing Leadership Team, Parenteral Drug Association Board of Directors and ERGs; i.e., AMECA.
      • Manage all aspects of business travel and provide proactive support with travel emergencies to minimize disruptions for business partners.
      • Represent Eli Lilly and Company and the Team Lilly values in all communications with internal/external business partners and external agencies/organizations. Coordinate communication forums (BTVs, town halls, coffee chats, etc.) and partner with consultant(s) for functional global communications.
      • Manage recognition requests, partner with other functions in providing support for diversity and inclusion programs and expect unplanned projects.
      • Foster knowledge sharing and team cohesiveness by mentoring and coaching other admins in the division and organizing opportunities for networking.
      • Effectively manage business processes (Expense reports, travel approvals, travel exceptions, etc.) and proactively anticipate business needs that enable business partners to meet timelines, process approvals, and any other requests from their organization. Maintain group distribution lists, and update org charts as necessary.
      • Support large global meetings w/agendas, planning, team building and logistics.
      • Coordinate external speaking engagements, including registration, travel, etc.

      Education:

      • High School Diploma, 5 years or more of executive assistance experience with demonstrated excellence.

      Experience:

      • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Teams, etc. and can navigate multiple systems.
      • Other important skills include proactive thinking, communication, prioritization, time management, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, meeting planning, travel planning and confidentiality.

      Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

      $29.56 - $49.28

      Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
