      The Biosciences Division (BID) drives $4B+ yearly revenue through a diverse set of businesses operating in a broad breadth of market segments. This integral Sr Financial Analyst role will support the BID Strategy, Portfolio & Business Development (SPBD) Leadership Team as well the broader BID FP&A team and key operating mechanisms such as forecasting, reporting and strategic planning. The SPBD team is comprised of the Strategy, Portfolio Management, Business Development, Customer Research and Business Transformation teams.

      Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role will become part of a team focused on career development, collaboration, and process excellence.       Key Responsibilities:

      • Principal finance partner for the Strategy, Portfolio & Business Development (SPBD) Leadership Team, providing financial insight to deliver financial objectives and advance long-term strategies
      • Support business needs of each of the sub-teams within the SPBD Leadership Team, including the Strategy, Portfolio Management, Business Development, Customer Research and Business Transformation teams
      • Help drive key market and competitive intel insights
      • Partner with team to drive process excellence in our reporting mechanisms of QBR/MBR, AOP, STRAP
      • Help define critical metrics to track and measure success and drive initiatives to meet goals
      • Continuously drive operational improvements (PPI) in our internal processes
      • Champion other ad-hoc projects and initiatives, as assigned or as self-identified areas for improvement

      Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

      • Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related subject areas
      • 4+ years of progressive financial reporting experience
      • Comprehension of financial statements and how to use them to analyze a business
      • Outstanding excel and data analytics skills
      • Self-reliant, problem solver, team player and results oriented
      • Experience with Hyperion Planning, Smartview, Tableau, PowerBI or similar systems
      • Demonstrated experience in a large, multinational, heavily-matrixed organization
      • Excellent judgement and creative problem solving skills
      • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior management
      • Embraces challenges in a continuously evolving environment
      • Proven track record of working with a diverse group of individuals

      Compensation and Benefits

      The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$140,000.00.

      This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
