What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Use SAS to design and complete retrospective statistical studies evaluating clinical program performance
- Construct claims-based datasets using SQL
- Develop polished and dynamic MS Excel models to meet analytical requests
- Interpret key health metrics to inform ongoing clinical program performance
- Communicate project status, results, and conclusions from analyses to requestors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, actuarial science, health services research, economics, or a related degree
- 4+ years of analytical experience in healthcare economics, program evaluation, or related discipline
- Experience with statistical methods such as multivariate regression and tests of significance
- Proficiency in SQL for data table creation or SAS for statistical analysis
- Proven problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree, such as an MPH or MS
- Experience with Medicare Advantage
- Experience presenting analytical summaries to key stakeholders
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
