- Implementing new solutions, features and project execution from start to finish within the Global HR Systems space at Novelis. This includes planning the feature and/or project, gathering, analyzing and documenting business and system requirements, testing and documenting any system bugs, conducting appropriate UAT sessions with business partners, and leading the deployment and hyper care plan.
- Maintain and optimize existing solutions, provide production support and troubleshooting for Global HR systems.
- Act as a business relationship manager for your business center of excellence. You will be the liaison between global and regional business partners; making sure you understand business priorities and needs using the established governance model. You will work closely with your business Center of Excellence Lead, HR Shared Services teams, HR Process Excellence team, and HRIS teams.
- Partner closely across various IT functional teams; ranging from the HRIT architect, security team, QA team, software vendors, and our parent company (Adityabirla Group/ABG) resources. Responsible for communicating business needs across those IT teams and collaborate on project execution.
- Provide both formal and informal project management responsibilities for the projects you are leading. You will monitor your projects for risks, identify migration plans, project issues, etc.
- Within your COE, you are responsible for detailed analysis & requirements. You will gather and document requirements from business partners, analyze process and technical issues, design new or optimize existing solutions
- Develop test strategy for your projects, execute test scripts and/or collaborate with the QA testing team for development and execution.
- Solid understanding of HR systems, security access and processes with a background implementing HR solutions
- Dedicated to understanding customer needs and exceeding their expectations. Builds collaborative relationships across business units to accomplish business objectives.
- Demonstrates an ability to work both independently and multi-functionally.
- Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Acts as a role model in demonstrating the customer service standards of the organization.
- Maintains personnel confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to communicate effectively, use interpersonal and organizational skills to optimally manage multiple, shifting priorities with attention to detail and focus.
- Technical Proficiency: solid understanding of HRIS systems with experience in one or more of the following HRIS systems: Oracle PeopleSoft, Kronos Dimensions, ServiceNow HR module
- Good understanding of data integrations between HRIS systems and downstream applications. Support integration design, testing and implementation

- Bachelor’s Degree
- HRIS experience (Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience)
- 2+ years Timekeeping experience: implementation & support (UKG Dimensions & UKG Pro a plus)
- Global experience
- Oracle PeopleSoft experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with a middleware platform
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. OBIEE, PowerBI)

Position Overview
The Novelis Global HRIS team is seeking a Sr HRIS Analyst who will be a technology partner for various applications and/or integrations. Guided by the HRIS Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience implementing, providing operational support for time-keeping systems, will be involved with managing the organization's global and regional technologies for core HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Performance Management, Learning, HR Shared Services, Payroll and Employee Relations. The incumbent will implement new features and functionality to meet the needs of global business teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build valuable knowledge, gain multi-functional experience and own new applications, features and functionality while supporting the needs of business teams globally.
