      Emerson-AspenTech is a fast-paced, growing, high technology company, headquartered in Medina, Minnesota. As a world leader in the Operations Technology (OT) field, Emerson-AspenTech develops and supplies state-of-the-art energy management, optimization, and control software solutions to energy utility companies worldwide.

      As an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) - Integration Developer, you'll have the opportunity to influence core areas of customer experience. As a customer’s data is often one of their most precious resources, your groups activities are critical to the success of projects for our new customers.

      Your Impact

      • Plan, execute, and report on projects assigned to you as a CODES member: Conversions and Display Engineering Services
      • Organizes and facilitates workshops, influencing stakeholders and guiding technical decisions
      • Create and maintain detailed documentation while developing programmatic solutions that address customer data conversion requirements
      • Support system and acceptance testing with the end customers
      • Design and implement scripts and middleware components to enable seamless data integration and transformation
      • Troubleshoot complex problems and collaborate with technical experts in various domains to ensure seamless integration and data conversions
      • Explores and designs innovative strategies to address emerging data transformation challenges
      • Acts as a resource for other team members, providing guidance and mentoring on technical issues
      • Identifies opportunities for process optimization and recommends innovative improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
      • Periodically travel to customer sites and work directly with customers plan, deliver, and test developed solutions

      What You'll Need

      • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
      • A minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience
      • Experience in computer programming; C# (requirement), and C, Python preferred
      • Proficiency with flat file formats such as CSV, XML, JSON
      • Proficiency with image file formats such as SVG, EVW, DXF
      • Experience with common developer tools such as Git, GitHub, MS Visual Studio
      • Strong work ethic including willingness to learn and investigate new technologies and problems
      • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
      • Experience using Windows operating systems
      • Comfortable with a customer facing role
      • Willingness to travel up to 10%
      • Proficiency in technical writing
      • Experience with or knowledgeable about electric power generation, transmission, and distribution
      • Expertise in any of the following areas: electric utility operations, control systems, automation, client/server applications, APIs, web services, network communications, operating systems, algorithms, SQL and other database technologies

      The salary range for this role is $109,600.00 - $137,000.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
