What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure classroom video and audio presentation systems are fully functional and operating as designed
- Plan and execute AV support tasks, supervising junior staff and reporting to IT Campus Leadership
- Provide end-user support via Global Viewer or in person, assisting faculty, staff, and students
- Act as campus lead for A/V system design, implementation, updates, and support
- Manage AV inventory and coordinate system life cycle management under the direction of Campus IT Leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in designing, installing, maintaining, and supporting professional A/V systems
- Knowledge of various A/V equipment manufacturers and models
- Experience managing A/V systems for an enterprise
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading small groups and coordinating tasks
- Competency in managing TCIP configuration within A/V system architecture
- Familiarity with Extron or Crestron products
- Experience generating reports on A/V system usage and projector management
- Background in a college or educational environment
