What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, test, implement, and support clinical and administrative data interfaces between Epic and ancillary systems
- Provide production support and participate in on-call duties in a 24/7 environment
- Utilize technical analytical skills to evaluate solutions and improve workflows
- Understand and apply design and development principles related to data interfaces
- Collaborate on new projects to enhance integration between Epic and other systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information systems, processing, clinical, or engineering with an emphasis on analysis, design, or process
- Minimum of seven (7) years of applicable work experience in a healthcare setting
- Five (5) years of related application maintenance/development experience in system integration
- Current certification on Epic Bridges (must attain certification within the first 6 months of hire if not already certified)
- Certification on Cloverleaf interface engine (version 20.1 or higher) (must attain certification within the first 6 months of hire if not already certified)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Five (5) years of applicable experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise with healthcare industry standard messaging formats (e.g., HL7, XML, ANSI x12)
- Experience/exposure to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience on at least two (2) major system implementations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
