What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats to maintain the integrity of the organization's digital infrastructure
- Conduct security assessments and assist with incident response efforts
- Implement best practices to ensure compliance with security policies and frameworks
- Stay informed about evolving cyber threats to enhance the company's proactive security measures
- Collaborate with teams to strengthen cybersecurity defenses and address security incidents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7-10 years of direct working experience in IT security, network security, or cybersecurity operations
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Must possess one of the following certifications or equivalents: ISC2 Series, GIAC Series, ISACA Series, EC-Council certifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate security risks and best practices to non-technical audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Basic proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for security automation and log parsing
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cybersecurity challenges
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with IT and business teams
- Professional appearance and presentation required
