Job Summary Responsible for the planning, development, and acquisition of a continuous flow of content for either a portion of the organization' s sites or a major online and/or platform market segment. Contributes with evaluating new content ideas. Identifies additional markets. Creates new concepts. Enhances content and services. Accountable for content quality and traffic/market share of assigned content area(s). Develops operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results, and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees. Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform on a variety of branded 4K streaming devices and smart TVs. Powered by Comcast’s global technology platform, Xumo devices and services feature an entertainment experience designed to make it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content through a world-class user interface and voice search, and for partners to meaningfully connect and engage with millions of consumers. Job Description Core Responsibilities Manages and monitors the development and implementation of content programs with major partners in entertainment, media, music, and publishing with the goal of significantly increasing the quality and depth of content on a site and/or platform. Identifies and evaluates business opportunities and targets key event programming to drive differentiation. Manages the quality and effectiveness of online and/or platform communications to all of the organization' s internal and external audiences, identifying opportunities for audience growth. Manages partner promotions, content tracking, and cross-platform programs with other divisions. Coordinates with marketing and creative teams to align content goals and ensures smooth and timely implementation of content programs. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Experience: Minimum 7-10 years' experience in program operations. Streaming industry highly preferred. Proven experience in Scheduling, Operations, and Research Demonstrated strong time-management, prioritization and organizational skills Demonstrated strong strategic and analytical planning and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and negotiate with internal clients Ability to meet deadlines and partner timeline expectations Experience with manual delivery systems such as Aspera, AWS S3 or FTP is a plus Position is office based 4 days/week & virtual 1 day/week. Relevant Work Experience 7-10 Years Salary: Pay Range: $105,940.14 - $158,910.22 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
