- Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of Manufacturing & Packaging and ensure everyone in the organization is aligned with all procedures.
- Develop the short, medium, and long-term operational plan with a focus on customer needs, quality requirements, detailed execution, technology, and efficiency improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop an effective and motivated team that delivers departmental and business objectives through a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and lead the annual departmental budget, including headcount for the department.
- Implement and lead financial measures which ensure outstanding performance and enable profitable growth.
- Develop and implement efficient practices to ensure timely manufacturing and packing of clients' medicines.
- Demonstrate Role Model Leadership in line with the Role Model Leader Proficiencies.
- Undertake any duties on an ad-hoc basis as the need arises by your Line Manager.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment.
- Proven ability to remove barriers to execution and achieve key outcomes.
- Significant experience in operational roles within manufacturing and packaging for clinical trials and/or commercial products.
- Experience in handling budgets with the ability to plan and lead profitability.
- Experience of organizational change within a regulated environment.
- Strong process improvement knowledge including Lean Manufacturing techniques and experience in implementing process improvement through problem-solving.
- Ability to develop and lead teams through influencing, coaching, and mentoring techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and good English-speaking skills.
- Ability to influence internal and external partners.
