      ROLE SUMMARY:

      As a part of the Purpose Blueprint 2.0’s Execution Makes the Difference, we have an aspiration to develop world-class training for commercial customer-facing colleagues and leaders via the new Global Customer Engagement Training (GCET) organization. The GCET organization is built to meet commercial customer-facing learners where they are by deploying innovative, multimodal approaches to deliver best in class learning content that spans roles, brands, and topics.

      The Platform & System Specialist will plan, execute, and ensure platform and technical solutions are understood, coordinated, and executed within the GCET learning technology (Degreed, Axonify, etc.) and broader system portfolio. Reporting to the Learning Effectiveness Lead, the role will work within the broader GCET Platform and System group, work closely with Pfizer Digital, the GCET training team and other key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technical solutions that deliver successful training campaigns and elevate the learning and career experience for customer facing colleagues and their leaders.

      ROLE RESPONSIBILITES:

      Technical Solution Development:

      • Serves as a priority platform lead in the Learning Effectiveness team responsible for the execution and management of assigned learning systems and solutions that optimize learning outcomes and enhance the overall training experience
      • Support the evaluation and selection of technologies in accordance with the technology strategy
        • Review results of technology evaluation
        • Make recommendations to leadership on technology investments/enhancements
      • Facilitate implementation, change management, and adoption projects for new technologies
        • Carry out functional testing and validation to ensure technology works as required

      Multimodal Ecosystem Implementation and Support

      • Based on business requirements and broader GCET strategic roadmap, develop end-to-end user interactions with technology that promotes a user-friendly, interactive, learner experience
      • Inform and establish key reporting and effectiveness frameworks for markets.
      • Extend the current operational model to support new technical and operational capabilities for flawless execution and operational support for prioritized markets
      • Track and solve tier 1 technical problems and business issues
      • Advise learning design/development teams on how to best embed technology in learning

      Continuous Improvement

      • Establish and maintain a framework for continuous improvement of technical solutions, regularly assessing their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
      • Carry out requirements gathering and analysis for new technology
        • Develop evaluation criteria
        • Document and finalize / modify evaluation criteria per discussion with Multimodal Lead
        • Document results
      • Stay abreast of market development and establish best practices to guide and inform the global technical solutions.
      • Stay current on new technology platforms, trends, and techniques and recommend innovative solutions

      Stakeholder Collaboration

      • Act as a key platform & system liaison and subject matter expert for the training department and key cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on technical solutions.
      • Facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of technical solutions.
      • Identify opportunities to standardize, streamline or automate manual and administrative tasks

      Training Optimization

      • Utilize data and feedback to optimize technical solutions, tailoring them to meet the diverse needs of learners.
      • Coordinate with Learning Effectiveness analytics and measures lead to develop and maintain metrics to evaluate the success of technical solutions, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize enterprise technology needs for training

      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

      • 6+ years of relevant experience as a learning, technology, or platform administrator, or related experience
      • Knowledge of how to curate content, adaptive learning technologies and integration capabilities through xAPI and SCORM
      • Background in instructional design or information technology
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Effectively translate business needs into data analysis requirements.
      • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
      • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

      NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

      • Occasional travel for team and customer meetings.

      The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.       * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $108,700.00 to $181,100.00.
