      The position of Sr Network Engineer will be based out of our Dallas, TX location!

      Summary

      The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for working collaboratively to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing Software Defined Meraki infrastructure and help us transition to IPv6. This role will be part of the Enterprise Network team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


      What You’ll Do

      • Work on a Meraki SD WAN Network enterprise of over 400 locations and multiple datacenters
      • Implement scalable Cisco/Meraki Dual Stack networks according to Meraki Best practices
      • Design and transform enterprise to support Dual Stack Configuration
      • Analyze existing Network hardware, software, circuits, and networking systems to ensure maximum uptime
      • Test and troubleshoot installed Cisco & Merak systems
      • Design and Manage Firewalls and IPS systems to ensure highest level of security
      • Ensure all systems are secure by implementing best practices and applying security upgrades
      • Perform product evaluation and present recommendation
      • Implement scalable Cisco/Meraki Dual Stack networks according to Meraki Best practices
      • Other duties as assigned

      What You’ll Need

      • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or other technical degree
      • 8+ years of experience as a network engineer
      • Experience in IPv6 designs, Dual Stack Configuration, and implementation
      • Experience with Meraki SD WAN equipment, configuration, and security
      • Experience managing Cisco and Meraki Firewalls and IPS systems
      • Experience of network administration and architecture
      • Experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analysis tools
      • Working in a Distributed Global WAN
      • Experience in securing large WAN environments


      Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

      • Professionally certified in CCNP, CCDP or other relevant certifications

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

      • Knowledge of communication protocols specifically routing protocols like BGP, OSPF as well as TCP/IP
      • Sound knowledge about network security and control models
      • Ability to configure and installing software, network devices
      • Designing and deploying functional networks such as LAN, WLAN or WAN
      • Monitoring network performance, security, and integrity
      • Suggesting improvements to network capacity, performance, and scalability
      • Maintaining technical documentation
      • Creating, overseeing, and testing security measures such as disaster recovery and access authentication
      • Identifying and resolving issues by troubleshooting local and cloud infrastructure
      • Communicating with the network users as needed
      • Ability to interface and troubleshoot connectivity and computer-related issues
      • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
      • Technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work well in a team environment
      • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
