- Strategy Deployment: Partner with leadership and extended teams to identify groundbreaking opportunities to identify efficiencies in the organization.
- Marketeer Engagement: Develop an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve critical metrics in the areas of customer engagement, campaign performance, budget utilization, and team efficiency.
- PPI Business System: Act as a champion of PPI, using it as a framework to lead teams through uncovering opportunities in their process, or via emerging technology.
- Encourage teams to find creative ways to apply marketing innovation tools for achieving efficiency goals through content creation and automation of repetitive marketing tasks.
- Process Transformation: Lead initiatives to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness. Implement standard methodologies and innovative solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, science, operations, business, or related field required.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Requires 5+ years of work experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement practices with experience implementing successful continuous improvement-based business systems.
- A background in marketing or marketing operations and experience with Generative AI tools, automation, and data science techniques all will help you get a quick start.
- Proven track record of leading process transformation initiatives within a marketing context across a highly matrixed, global organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with and positively influence peers and leaders within the organization.
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, within a formal program/process.
- Strong ability to develop, train, and mentor teams.

How will you make an impact?
As the Senior Marketing PPI Specialist, you will support the implementation of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Continuous Improvement program, known as PPI. Your main responsibility will be to collaborate with Division Marketing teams in identifying and implementing opportunities to meet or exceed efficiency goals. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of continuous improvement practices, including the use of technologies like Generative AI. Your expertise will also be sought in improving marketing process efficiency and effectiveness. We are looking for someone who can quickly establish relationships and generate innovative ideas that can be scaled up.

The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $100,000.00–$140,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
