What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for Walrus and its key surfaces
- Partner with engineering teams to enhance performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Define and ship developer-facing abstractions, APIs, SDKs, and documentation for easy adoption
- Collaborate with the GTM team to refine positioning and messaging for the product ecosystem
- Incorporate feedback from partners and the ecosystem to inform product priorities and tradeoffs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, specifically with technical platform or infrastructure products
- Proven capability to manage ambiguous problems from discovery through execution and iteration
- Strong technical fluency and ability to work closely with engineering on system design and performance
- Experience leading multi-quarter initiatives across various teams, including engineering and design
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in shaping or scaling ecosystems, including collaboration with external partners and community contributors
- Familiarity with content, media, AI, or data monetization use cases
- Knowledge of security, privacy, or data governance concepts in production systems
- Involvement with open-source projects or protocol-driven development environments
