      Description

Why you’ll love working at HealthStream HealthStream exists for one simple reason: to improve the quality of healthcare by developing the people who deliver care. How? By building software that helps clinicians stay competent, confident, and prepared.

We’ve been doing this work for over 35 years. We’re debt-free, profitable, and ranked #1 in Healthcare Software. In an industry that values trust, stability, and outcomes, those things matter. And we don’t take them lightly.

We’re also a remote-first company by design. While many organizations are mandating a return to the office, our leadership team remains deeply committed to flexible, distributed work. We care more about clarity, ownership, and results than where your desk happens to be.

      About the role

We’ve built a strong product marketing foundation, and this role exists to help us expand it at a greater scale.

We’re looking for a senior product marketer who can help us show up more clearly in the market, expand awareness beyond our existing footprint, and connect our story to the right audience at the right time.

Fundamentally, this job is about developing and executing strategies that bring more people to the top of the funnel. It’s about shaping how HealthStream is perceived, talked about, and trusted, especially by healthcare leaders who don’t yet know us as well as they should.

We’re not looking for someone to spend their time tweaking email drip campaigns or chasing every new marketing fad. This role is much bigger than that.

This is a senior role for someone who knows how to mix a fresh idea with a practical pitch, who can recognize real opportunities and avoids high-effort, low-reward mirages.

Bottom-line, this is an impact position. Given enough time, the business should look better with you on board.

While this is a big responsibility, you’re not in it alone. You’ll have colleagues to support you, cheer you on, and pitch in to help you execute.

      About you

      You’re experienced. You’re organized. You’re creative.

You’ve built and executed smart, focused marketing campaigns before. And you want to do it again at a bigger level.

And yes, you should be the type of person people look forward to working with.

This role is for you if:

      • You like owning outcomes, not just tasks
      • You know how to balance bold ideas with practical execution
      • You can spot real opportunities and avoid distractions
      • You want your work to directly influence messaging, growth and perception of products that truly help people
      • You have a knack for switching between strategy & tactical execution

This role is not for you if:

      • You prefer narrowly defined responsibilities
      • You’re uncomfortable with ambiguity or accountability
      • You want to focus exclusively on tactical channel execution

      What you'll do

You’ll own the go-to-market strategy and messaging for a portfolio of healthcare SaaS products. You’ll then connect that strategy to execution in a way that drives real business outcomes.

      That includes:

      • Lead the strategy

Develop and lead go-to-market plans that clearly articulate who our products are for, why they matter, and how they win in the market.

      • Own outcomes

Be accountable for KPIs including MQLs, SQLs, marketing-generated pipeline, and NOV.

      • Shape the message

Craft positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with buyer needs and show up consistently across channels.

      • Drive visibility and demand

Partner with performance marketing to design campaigns that increase awareness, engagement, and pipeline.

      • Enable sales

Build sales enablement assets that help sales teams have smarter, confident conversations and close deals.

      • Stay close to the market

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to keep our positioning sharp, differentiated, and relevant.

      • Lead cross-functionally

Work closely with Product, Sales, Demand, Customer Success, Implementations, and Creative to align priorities and move work forward.

      • Raise the bar
Mentor junior marketers and help improve how product marketing operates as a discipline inside HealthStream.

      Qualifications

      What we're looking for

      • 5–7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or product marketing
      • Proven success leading multiple GTM launches with measurable results
      • Strong understanding of mar-tech stacks and performance measurement
      • Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
      • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills
      • Comfort influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
      • Healthcare experience is a plus, not a requirement
      • Strong presentation skills and PowerPoint experience

      Compensation & Benefits

      • Salary range: $89,637 – $107,000 (based on experience)
      • Competitive bonuses and comprehensive benefits
      • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
      • Generous PTO and parental leave
      • 401(k) and Roth options
      • Remote-friendly work environment
      • Wellness, fitness reimbursement, and volunteer time of
