What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with internal users to understand their needs for data, automation, and utilities
- Design, implement, and release new code to enhance data accessibility for analysts
- Refactor existing systems to improve stability, scalability, or maintainability
- Dive into complex problem domains to assess and improve existing systems and codebases
- Design and build reliable tools and data pipelines for transforming raw data into actionable insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong proficiency in Python 3
- Experience with testing, debugging, and operating Python applications in modern Linux environments
- Familiarity with developing back-end components and services
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
- Interest or experience in building AI-assisted or agentic systems to support human workflows
- Some experience building web-based UIs for internal tools
