Job Description
- Req#: RFPAN003163
- Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and other solicitations to determine appropriate response formats and timeframes.
- Responds to all RFPs, including large and DOC RFPs with minimal direction.
- Exercises decision-making on how to customize responses for each RFP opportunity requirement.
- Communicates with Sales personnel and Company Principals on the proposal team regarding format, approach, status, and deadlines.
- Helps identify needs for the RFP Knowledgebase based on experience answering RFPs where the current Knowledgebase is lacking information.
- Coordinates all related proposal workflow including SME assignments, review cycles, version control, processing support, and adherence to proposal schedule.
- Produces complete documentation and RFP submissions for distribution.
- Performs analysis of competitive RFP submissions obtained through open record requests.
- Performs other tasks under the direction of the RFP Team Lead and Proposal Manager that may be necessary to accomplish the team's objectives.
- Responsibilities of this position include responding to multiple proposal requests, coordinating and monitoring internal resources, and presentation production (including synthesis of both writing and graphics elements), and complete documentation of the proposal process. Your proactive nature, ability to solve problems, eye for detail, and strong communications skills-both written and oral-make you an excellent candidate for this position.

- Should be skilled at customizing complex responses to detailed RFP requirements and distilling complex information into easy-to-understand responses

- A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism is essential
- Thorough understanding of office automation software with excellent computer (Microsoft Office) skills are essential, particularly extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and the use of styles
- High School Diploma
- Experience writing proposals
- 3 - 5 years' experience or any combination of education and/or experience that would provide an equivalent background.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Business, or related field.
- Experience writing government proposals.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.

Job Purpose: The Senior RFP Analyst is responsible for creating proposals that promote the company's services in response to RFPs. This position works all RFPs, including large and DOC RFPs with minimal direction. In addition, this position shows initiative in presenting information in RFP responses in new and creative ways.
