      The ServiceNow Architect will provide technical and architectural leadership for the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions supporting the modernization of the federal agency’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes. This role is responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and automated ServiceNow capabilities that integrate RMF workflows, GRC functions, cybersecurity tooling, and enterprise systems to accelerate RMF timelines while maintaining compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements.

      Job Responsibilities
      • Design the overall ServiceNow architecture supporting RMF process automation and integration
      • Define standardized ServiceNow workflows for RMF lifecycle activities, approvals, and artifact management
      • Architect integrations between ServiceNow, GRC tools, cybersecurity platforms, and enterprise systems
      • Ensure ServiceNow solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with federal cybersecurity requirements
      • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow developers, business analysts, and integration engineers
      • Support the automation of evidence collection, reporting, and continuous monitoring data ingestion
      • Establish ServiceNow development standards, governance, and best practices
      • Streamline documentation on system changes and configurations
      • Develop and execute test plans to ensure overall quality of ServiceNow solutions
      • Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps.
      • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
      • Modify and/or customize the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Requests, Service Catalog while applying best practices
      • Assist in delivering best practices for the Enterprise to include ITIL, Agile, PMBOK frameworks for delivering IT Services
      • Create and enhance business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and automation scripts to improve service efficiency and automate tasks within ServiceNow.


      Job Qualifications
      • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
      • 8+ years of experience implementing and architecting ServiceNow solutions in enterprise or federal environments
      • 3+ years of experience designing ServiceNow architectures for GRC, SecOps, or workflow automation
      • Strong understanding of NIST RMF (SP 800-37), SP 800-53, and federal compliance processes
      • Experience with ServiceNow GRC, IRM, SecOps, and platform integrations
      • Expertise in ServiceNow architecture concepts, including CMDB, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and scripted APIs
      • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external cybersecurity and GRC tools (e.g., eMASS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
      • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Certified Implementation Specialist preferred
      • Ability to hold and maintain a federal security clearance
